This event, for JRCLS members and guests, will be held in the historic Kennedy Caucus Room of the Senate Russell Office Building (site of the Watergate hearings, Iran Contra hearings, Justice Thomas' confirmation hearing, and many more memorable events).

Religious Freedom Writing Competition

Open to All JRCLS Student Members

Purpose

The purpose of the writing competition is to promote quality research and writing by the student members of the Society on the important topic of religious freedom. The competition is being sponsored by the DC Chapter of the Society and the International Center for Law and Religion Studies.

William T. Coleman Recieves Rex E. Lee Advocacy Award

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr., and Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) joined BYU Law School Dean James R. Rasband on June 7 to present the 10th annual Rex Lee Advocacy Award to William T. Coleman.

Law Society and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Honor Civil Rights Advocate
